Lines & Light is a collaborative multimedia installation between photographer Daniel Newcomb and composer Aaron Lepley. The two artists have worked together since they were teenagers on a multitude of projects in a variety of mediums. This project explores their love of yesterday’s architectural visions of tomorrow. These fragments of the world seen in these images represent abandonment, a loss in time, or a break in the link of self-awareness to the present. Through visually and sonically exploring contrast, negative space, and the juxtaposition of shapes, Lines & Light is an immersive, meditative experience.
