Limited Edition 22 prints:
Part of my Hotel Chelsea series created while staying at the hotel off an on from 1998-2005.
I stayed at the Chelsea for man years because of its inspiration and place in history.
The Chelsea opened its doors in 1884. The hotel became a mecca for artists. Many even traded art for studio space or a dry place to work. Artists like Jackson Pollack, Patti Smith, Dylan Thomas, Jack Kerouac, William Burroughs, Bob Dylan, and the famed murder of Nancy Spungen by Sid Vicious are just a few stories inhabiting its halls.
Hotel Chelsea, New York, NY, 1884.
